GBV's classic lineup of Robert Pollard, Tobin Sprout, Mitch Mitchell, Greg Demos, and Kevin Fennell played Canal Street Tavern for the first time since the Under The Bushes record release party in 1996 as part of Heedfest, a GBV fan event.
Dayton's Mayor introduced the band at this event and declared it Guided By Voices month in Dayton. Since there was no place for the band to go backstage, there were no encores. All 45 songs were played without any break.
The Textbook Committee, a GBV cover band, opened the show and played the following setlist:
