The theme of the poster set is "Hot Freaks", hence the fire...and the freaks. There are GBV references all over the posters, especially on the Billy Davis "Man With Singing Skin" tattooed man poster. The tattoos include Suitcase band names ("Ricked Wicky", "Clinton Killingsworth", etc), GBV images (rune, Teenage FBI badge, Needmore Road sign, Converse All-Stars, Maroon blazer, etc.), and song titles ("Atom Eyes", "Hunting Knife", "Striped White Jets", etc). The backstage pass image used for the show was a shrunken version of on of the posters (the Illustrated Man Bob Poster) with the addition of the "ADMIT ONE" text that was added. The way the lanyard was attached, the pass hangs upside down. The promoter, Jim Faherty, chose to do this because he "didn't want to put the bullet hole through Bob's head".
Apparently "I Am A Scientist" and "Echos Myron" were played twice. Is this correct? |
